Live Streaming
Silvercast  broadcasts your video and audio content 24 hours a day 365 days per year with the minimum fuss and setup.

Your visitors are able to choose their viewing from a complete programme selection. The system will detect whether they have a paid subscription or whether this is a “pay on demand” content.  It can also be selected as free content to give viewers an opportunity to experience the TV channel as a promotion.

The content resides on Silvercast streaming servers, optimised to deliver sustainable high speed bandwidth to maximise the viewing experience.  These can also be embedded with a plug-in via your existing web sites which will then pull the stream from the central content server.

This is a total solution for delivering high quality video content on demand and includes an intuitive management system to control the transmission and report on viewers; geographic breakdown and revenue figures.
 
Live Broadcast
You can now stream Continuous Live Video, similar to the equivalent of a television broadcast over the Internet using Microsoft Windows Streaming Media   This involves the simple installation of a digital or analogue converter which will connect via a live IP and deliver content to our streaming server sitting on the high speed backbone of the Internet.

This live feed is perfect for shopping channels where the broadcast is linked to products sales or to covering live events from concerts to sports events or from news feeds to education.

IPTV is set to change the way all of us receive our visual and audio content.  Digital convergence has finally arrived with the delivery of high speed broadband which is available to more than 85 per cent of homes in the UK alone.
 
Multicasting Solutions
The wider audience of Multicasting of TV or video streams allows millions of viewers worldwide and at the same time.

The transmission is distributed via nodes and therefore the signal is sent once for multicasting to many. This saves considerably on bandwidth and makes IPTV a scaleable solution into mainstream broadcasting.

As a new viewer requests to see a TV or video channel the signal is delivered from their nearest active node.
